How to Find the Perfect Jeans for Your Body Shape

If you're like me and millions of other people around the world, then jeans are a staple of your closet. They've come a long way since they were first created back in 1871, but with so many different styles, rises, and colors available, choosing the perfect pair can quickly become a nightmare. Ultimately, it's up to you what style of jeans you wear but to find the perfect pair that creates proportion and balance, and flatters your body then follow the guide below.

The hourglass body - full hips and bust that are the same width, and a defined waist.

Bootcut and flared jeans give you a great balanced shape. If you have slender thighs then you should give a straight leg jean a try. Try to avoid skinny jeans and anything slouchy like a boyfriend cut as this can make hips seem bigger.

The pear body type - hips, thighs, and derriere take centre stage, and waist is defined.

Flat-fronted jeans with a mid-rise are great option for you, but to create the best silhouette go for bootcut or flares that will create balance with your hips. Skinny jeans will emphasize your hips, thighs, and butt so try avoid if you can.

The apple body type - in proportion a tendency to carry weight around mid-section, with little or no waist definition.

Flat-fronted jeans are perfect for you , along with a semi-low rise and bootcut leg. You can also rock a flared jean as it's perfect to create balance with your body. Avoid tapered and skinny jeans, and steer clear of high-waisted jeans if you can.
