Not only do they provide your delicate eyes with protection from the harmful rays of the sun, but they add an instant element of style to any outfit. When you walk in a store and your faced with 100's of options to try you can literally spending the whole day trying on each and every pair and constantly asking, "do these look good on me?" Well there is a much easier way to find the perfect pair of sunglasses and that's to shop using the face shape strategy! If you follow this strategy then you'll find your perfect pair in a fraction of the time!
The first step is to determine what your face shape is, and this is actually a very simple thing to do! There are four main face shapes, Square, Heart, Oval, and Round:
The square facial shape is angular and equally as wide at the forehead, jawline and cheekbones.
The heart facial shape is wider across the temples and appears to taper to a smaller almost pointy chin. Across the face from ear to ear is one width and from hairline to chin length is longer.
The oval facial shape is egg shaped. This face shape is equal in size across the face horizontally and down the face vertically and as such is perfectly proportioned.
The round facial shape is wide throughout the jaw and cheek area, almost like a filled out oval shape.
Once you've identified your face shape then the next step is to go for the sunglass styles that are best suited to your face shape. Here's a handy graphic that shows you exactly which shape works best for the different facial shapes:
Once you've found the style that's perfect for you then all that's left to do is find the colors and tints that you want. It's that simple!
